The Camerons

Our Dam House is proudly owned by Scott and Monica Cameron. Two locals who truly love everything about Shelbyville and lake life.

Scott is a school superintendent, and Monica is the librarian at the Shelbyville Public Library (and yes… a proud Star Wars fan, book lover, and self-proclaimed sarcasm enthusiast).

They’re the parents of two grown sons, Kurtis and Mason, and have always valued time spent together, especially when it involves lake days, good company, and evenings around the fire pit.

Monica will tell you the perfect evening includes a colorful sunset, chocolate, and a fire surrounded by people you love.  That’s exactly the kind of experience they hope to create for every guest who stays at Our Dam House.
